Is there a better way to birth?

2008 saw the launch of a documentary called The Business of Being Born and I saw births that were very different than what I’d seen on TV.

I was captivated by the idea that birth could be an empowering, beautiful, life-altering experience and caught a vision that I could help support people toward a better birthing experience.

There is a better way.

Research shows that just having a person continuously in the room with the birthing person, even just sitting in a chair watching, greatly improves the outcomes of birth.

It’s hard to overestimate the power of continuous, calm, affirming presence, which is what I bring. I’m here to validate, encourage and support your birthing process.
